Happiness (2010)

Happiness is an educational Alternate Reality Game, aimed at 15-17 year-olds. The game's subject matter relates to the problem of sex traffic.

It's a story of a Ukrainian girl, Olena, who is kidnapped and trafficked by the mafia.The player has to solve different puzzles, watch videos and go to websites in order to find her.

'Forest' is the main website. It contains various links, including the trafficked girls stories, other website and a flower-clock, which looses its petals with the passing time. When a player gets a point, the girls names disappear gently. However, when they loose, a names is burnt. If the player ask for help, a purple cloud will appear.

The second website is a map, which is a puzzle to find Olena's journey across Europe. The player has to click on various countries. When they choose a correct country, a blood-like line appears.

The final website is the flower forest, with colourful flowers appearing, since the player found the girl. Everything is happy now.
